Project June 2008: The First Wooly Knitalong!

The Clapotis is a design that we found on www.knitty.com, an online magazine for knitters.  Several of our customers and employees have made this garment and love it.  June’s project features Hanna’s version, knit in Berroco Seduce. 

We’re all going to make another Clapotis—it’s an extremely versatile shawl that can be done in a multitude of yarns.  We have decided to start a knitalong for any Wooly Monmouth customers who want to participate.  For those of you who don’t know, a knitalong is a project that brings together knitters from all over to all focus on a particular project and knit it together, communicating with one another through some vehicle.  In this case, we will discuss our progress through Ravelry.  I have set up a group for shop patrons called “Wild At The Wooly.”  If you are not already a member, feel free to join and you can participate in our thread titled “Clapotis KAL”
